S.H. Figuarts Review | Ron Weasley: Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone

The Hogwarts Express has arrived at Future of the Force bringing the incredible Harry Potter S.H Figuarts action figure collection…

Ron Weasley is S.H. Figuarts’s second new action figure from the impressive Harry Potter collection. And then Hermione Granger is scheduled to be released later this month. Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy have been announced but have no release dates at the moment.

Ron comes with his wand, 8 interchangeable hands, 2 interchangeable faces, 1 interchangeable robe for when he’s on his broom, Ron’s broom, Hogwarts books and Scabbers. Like for Harry, Figuarts has included Ron’s pet and that’s just awesome!

Like for Harry Potter, Figuarts has included a few alternate facial expressions for Ron Weasley and I hope they’ll do this a lot more in the future! Ron’s facial expressions are smiling and the typical Ron grimace, no basic expression, no angry expression! The two faces are simply spot on, some of Figuarts’s best work yet! I’m really impressed!

The figure is screen accurate, nicely painted and detailed. It comes with 22 points of articulation.

Final Thoughts:

The problems for this figure are basically the same problems as for Harry – the robe being too heavy for the figure thus the figure doesn’t stand easily on its own, the interchangeable robe is too rigid. The body of the figure is the same, only the color of the skin and the heads change.

Another must-have for Harry Potter fans, the Figuarts line keeps expanding and that’s as good as it gets!
