Black Series Archive Review | Bossk (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back)

Thomas delves into Hasbro’s Black Series Archives collection for a rendezvous with the legendary Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk…

One of the most feared bounty hunters of the galaxy, Bossk used his natural Trandoshan hunting instincts to capture his prey. Bossk didn’t care much for vendettas or politics. He was in it to get paid. Bossk answered Darth Vader’s call to capture the Millennium Falcon after the Battle of Hoth, an assignment that put him in direct competition with Boba Fett.

Review:

The second Black Series Archives action figure I’m reviewing is Bossk. It was about time this figure was re-released, on eBay, it was going on for insane prices!

Visually, it’s an amazing figure, totally screen accurate and Bossk can even open his mouth slightly, that’s a cool feature to include! He has 20 points of articulation so there’s great action poses to create! He comes with his blaster rifle.

The problem with Bossk is how he holds his weapon, the best thing you can get is like he is in the picture below:

If they had added an additional point of articulation on the elbows like in the MAFEX figures, Bossk could have held his weapon with his two hands, and we could have re-created his action poses from The Clone Wars!

Final Thoughts:

Bossk is a simple repack, so it’s a good figure but has some flaws that Hasbro could have easily fixed.
