Marvel’s latest blockbuster looks set to dominate the worldwide box office and break records…
The newest Marvel film ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ has decimated the Chinese box office in a single day. The film has opened in the Far East with an estimated $102million taken. Yes, you read that right, $102million in a day.
Viewers have flocked to see the three-hour grand ending of many characters story arcs in the new film. The film still has to open officially in many parts of the world and doesn’t hit U.S cinemas until Friday. It now seems certain that the predictions of a $500million opening weekend across the globe for the film are going to be seriously short. At the rate, it’s grabbing viewers, an opening weekend of $950million worldwide isn’t a fantasy but a distinct possibility. In fact, it could even possibly open to a $1billion weekend.
Starring Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner as the original six Avengers, the film opens in U.S cinemas at midnight Friday.
Having seen the film myself, all I can say is it’s a fantastic rollercoaster ride, with great humour, action and visuals and is the perfect send-off for the original heroes. Avoid all spoilers and get down to your local movie theatre and experience the film for yourselves. Believe me, you’ll laugh, cry and at certain points during the movie, you’ll cheer. And the final battle is one for the ages, one that demands to be seen on the biggest screen you can find. This is the best Marvel movie there’s ever been and one you can’t fail to enjoy.
Until next time.
