S.H. Figuarts News | Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Darth Vader Revealed

Tamashii Nations reveals official promo images for the upcoming Dark Lord of the Sith release

Bandai has a long history of producing highly detailed action figures. In recent weeks, the S.H. Figuarts line has been bolstered by some incredible action figure incarnations of Ant-Man, Black Widow, Thanos, Iron Man, and Captain America from Avengers Endgame. And, if that wasn’t enough to delight every single collector around the world, the Star Wars range has been bettered by the release of the highly anticipated Count Dooku action figure from Revenge of the Sith.

Over the next few months, the Star Wars collection will be enhanced further by new incarnations of Jedi Master Yoda (Revenge of the Sith) and the much beloved Mandalorian Bounty hunter Boba Fett (Return of the Jedi). The Marvel line-up will see a whole new series of figures from the upcoming blockbuster Spider-Man: Far From Home which includes the original Spider-Man as well as the new Spider-Man black Upgrade Suit.

If that wasn’t enough to get your collectors’ juices flowing, in the last few days, Tamashii Nations has unveiled plans to release another two incredible figures into its Star Wars line. These figures are focussing directly on the Empire and will feature new incarnations of Darth Vader from Return of the Jedi and the classic Imperial Stormtrooper from A New Hope.

S.H Figuarts Darth Vader (Return of the Jedi) Reveal 2

Bandai has now revealed several fantastic promo images of the new Darth Vader which reveal the character in multiple awesome poses. The figure comes with his traditional lightsaber and removable helmet which once removed reveals the scarred face of Anakin Skywalker. Check out the awesome images below

S.H. Figuarts figures tend to be scaled closer to Hasbro’s Black Series six-inch line which may appeal to the wider collecting community and the prospect of building a display with a handful of S.H. Figuarts Stormtroopers is an exciting one.

As of press time, no release date for this figure has been confirmed, but with promo images hitting the internet so readily pre-orders are expected to be made available in the coming weeks. I for one, cannot wait to add this figure to my collection. It is Darth Vader after all!

We’ll update you with news and release dates as they emerge.
