Kyle Richards to return to Haddonfield to face-off against Michael Myers in Halloween Kills
Even more news on the upcoming ‘Halloween Kills‘ has made its way out into the wide world as its been confirmed that actress Kyle Richards will be returning to the franchise once again. Richards is perhaps best known these days for starring in the show ‘The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills‘ and for being the aunt of Paris Hilton but back in 1978, she was one of the young children being babysat by Jamie Lee Curtis in the original Halloween, playing the character of Lindsey Wallace.
Longtime fans of the franchise have long been clamouring for the producers to bring both Richards and her character back into the fray and now their prayers have been answered. Her casting was confirmed on by the website Halloweenmovies.com who in addition managed to get a quote from Malek Akkad, one of the film’s producers who stated:
“We couldn’t be happier and are so excited that Kyle is coming home to her Halloween roots”
Even though the producers went in a different direction and hired actor Anthony Michael Hall for the role of Tommy Doyle instead of approaching original star Brian Andrews with a view to reprise his role, the fact that the characters of Tommy and Lindsay are returning to Haddonfield to face off with Michael Myers once more can only make the film even better and will raise the fans anticipation levels up higher than before.
Kudos must be given to the producers for this brilliant move, proving once again that they are committed to bringing the fans the best Halloween movie they can and expand the original storyline even further than before. By bringing back Kyle Richards, they have again proven they know exactly what they are doing and the direction they are going in.
Halloween Kills opens on October 16th 2020
