The countdown to Christmas starts here with the new trailer for Emila Clarke’s charming festive flick

With the countdown to the festive period officially underway the upcoming romantic comedy from Universal Pictures, ‘Last Christmas‘ has been given a sparkling brand new trailer ahead of its November release. Let’s take a look:

The synopsis of the film is:

‘A young woman named Kate, who has been continuously unlucky, accepts a job as a department store elf during the holidays. When Kate meets Tom on the job, her life takes an unexpected turn.’

The film stars the incredibly talented Emilia Clarke as Kate alongside Henry Golding as Tom. Offering support alongside the leads is Michelle Yeoh, Patti Lupone, Peter Serafinowicz and Emma Thompson. The film will contain the songs of late British singer George Michael alongside tracks that have never been heard or released before. The Christmas-set film is based entirely in London.

Last Christmas Gets A Sparkling New Trailer

The story of the film is by Emma Thompson and Greg Wise, with Thompson writing the screenplay alongside Bryony Kimmings. Thompson also produces the film alongside David Livingstone, Jesse Henderson and Paul Feig with Feig also on directorial duties.
