Vin Diesel embraces his inner super soldier to become an invincible warrior in the debut trailer for Bloodshot

The very first trailer for the big-screen adaptation of the comic book, ‘Bloodshot’ has today dropped online. The movie is expected to be the first of two R-Rated instalments of the franchise led by the inconquerable Vin Diesel. Let’s take a look:

The plotline of the film goes:

After he and his wife are murdered, Marine Ray Garrison is resurrected by a team of scientists using the latest nanotechnology, becoming the superhuman biotech named Bloodshot. At first, Ray cannot recall anything of his former life but as his memories begin to return, he remembers the man who not only killed him but his wife too. Breaking out from the facility he resides in to gain his revenge, Ray becomes aware that nothing is as it seems and there is another agenda in play.

The film is based on the comic-book character from Valiant Comics created by Kevin Vanhook, Bob Layton and Don Perlin. Making his directorial debut with the film is Dave Wilson. Producers for the film are Neal H Moritz, Dinesh Shamdasani, Toby Jaffe and Vin Diesel himself from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer and Jeff Wadlow. The cast includes Diesel, Guy Pearce, Eliza Gonzalez and Toby Kebbell.

The film is produced by Columbia Pictures, Cross Creek Pictures, The Hideaway Entertainment, Bona Film Group, DMG Entertainment, Original Film, Valiant Entertainment and One Race Films. Distribution is being handled by Sony Pictures Releasing.

The film is due for release on February 21st 2020.
