No Time To Die. No Time To Drink Vodka Martinis Either!
You have got to love Daniel Craig. He may be stepping down as everyone’s not so secret agent after the next Bond film, ‘No Time To Die‘. He may have a reputation of being miserable but he DOES have a great sense of humour. He demonstrated this in last years hit ‘Knives Out‘ and has done several skits for the UK’s comic relief charity over the years. And that’s not including the fantastic sketch he did as James Bond alongside the Queen Of England back in 2012 for the opening of the Olympic games in London. To this day, it’s amazing just how they managed to pull that off but it’s been rumoured that the Queen was overwhelmed with joy to appear alongside Craig and Craig himself has said it was an amazing highlight in his career.
Now, we have been presented with a fantastic and quite funny advert for ‘Heineken 0.0’, a non-alcoholic bottled beer. In it, Craig plays himself in which all the way through, he plays down his 007 image as people all over mistake him as Bond instead of himself. Let’s take a look at the advert now:
It may not be the most hilarious advert ever created but it is really quite amusing. Craig has a great sense of comic timing and sends himself up brilliantly during the course of the advert. My personal favourite moment has to be where he stops the orchestra from playing the James Bond theme as he walks past. Craig will always be known as Bond but with a great comedic streak, he can easily break free of the typecasting suffered by every other actor who has played the character over the years.
No Time To Die opens in April worldwide.
