New Godzilla vs Kong Concept Art Revealed

The ultimate MonsterVerse smackdown officially receives a PG-13 rating!

We have been waiting for ANY news on ratings for upcoming movies that have been held back during the Covid-19 crisis or those that moved back before the situation started. Well, we finally have news that the upcoming ‘Godzilla Vs Kong‘ has scored a PG-13 rating from the M.P.A.A. The official reason for the rating is:

“Godzilla Vs Kong-Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of creature violence/destruction and brief language”

KING KONG | King of the Monsters

Now, that news has made my day! Although we still await a trailer for the film, which is apparently incoming over the next few days, we can start to get excited about the film. This is the monster smackdown to end them all and will see two of the cinema’s greatest monster titans take each other on in a battle for the ages. Although the film is kind of a loose (and I mean Loose) remake of the Japanese film from the 1960s, this is the first time Hollywood has thrown the characters together and against each other. And with the rumored appearances of other titans from Godzilla lore and possibly the Skull Crawlers from ‘Kong: Skull Island‘, this could be the monster film to destroy the worldwide box office.

The film is the sequel to last years ‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters‘ and will be the fourth and apparently, the final film in the ‘Monsterverse’ that started with 2014s ‘Godzilla‘. It is due for release around the world in November.
