New 'The Batman' Set Photos Appear Online

Selena Kyle and Oswald Cobblepot spotted on set for the first time!

Despite being pushed back until 2022 and still not having completed filming, the excitement for the Warner Bros’ upcoming superhero film ‘The Batman‘ still shows no signs of abating. After the trailer that was unveiled at DC FanDome earlier this year, any new photo or information is being lapped up by the fans. And so, their tongues must be licking the air right about now as some brand new set photos from the film have appeared online today. Although no new photos of star Robert Pattinson in the Batsuit are among them, the actor does appear in two of the new pictures. Co-stars Zoe Kravitz and an unrecognizable Colin Farrell also appear in the new set photos as Selena Kyle and The Penguin respectively as does John Turturro who is appearing in the film as crime boss Carmine Falcone. There are more photos of the set which show many of the cast and crew wearing masks due to the coronavirus and what appears to be a set worker hosing down the set, either to set up the scene to be filmed or as a safety measure against COVID-19. The scenes were being filmed in Liverpool, England today (October 12th). Extras can be seen in the photos in what looks to be either a funeral scene or a memorial. All will be revealed on March 4th, 2022.
