Feast your eyes on the CCXP teaser for WW84
Ahead of its international bow (and its domestic theatrical and HBO MAX debut on Christmas Day), this weekend has seen a fair bit of information coming out about the Warner Bros. Superhero sequel ‘Wonder Woman 1984‘. After a virtual press event, a select few sites were allowed to see the brand new movie and every site reports that the film is ‘Amazing’, ‘Wonderful’ and ‘Completely brilliant’ and is even better than the original film.
The film opens internationally in nine days and the excitement is starting to build up quite considerably. And to round things off, a new mini-trailer for the film, lasting just under sixty seconds has made its bow online. Although it doesn’t show much that is new, it does feature a few snippets that we haven’t seen before and makes the film look more amazing than before. Grab your golden lasso and swing from a lightning bolt to take a look:
It looks like Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins have yet again hit a winning home run. But the critics have proclaimed that the best bits of the film are co-stars Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal. Both have been praised for their performances and are said to make the film that much more fun and enjoyable. The critics have also proclaimed (or at least some of them have) that they came out crying at the end of the film. Read into that what you will but it may tie in with actor Chris Pine’s comments from around a year ago that this would probably be the end of the road for him and his character Steve Trevor. Could this be the emotional ending that the critics are describing? We will have to wait and find out exactly what the film holds but it sounds like we are in for a treat.
Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal and is once again written and directed by Patty Jenkins.
