ubisoft-and-lucasfilm-games-announce-an-open-world-star-wars-game

Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games have announced a collaboration on a new open-world story-driven Star Wars game.

Yesterday, it was announced that Ubisoft will be releasing an Open-World Star Wars game. Details are scarce but just the 5 words get me excited. Open world games are the closest we have to Virtual reality in 2021 and you really can immerse yourself in this type of game.

Endless Possibilities

Star Wars is such an amazing universe so the possibilities are endless! I hope Ubisoft takes a page out of No Mans Sky and generates billions of planet options for the characters to travel to. However, Star Wars has an interstellar government so this may not be feasible. I honestly cannot imagine what they will create in terms of content for this game. There is no storyline or campaign so what will your character be doing?

I have a feeling you will be able to choose different careers like bounty hunter and Jedi but I certainly hope that the Story Group populates this game with a lot of both familiar and unknown elements. This game is very important. It can either be mind-blowingly awesome and give Star Wars fans ecstasy heart attacks or can be as lame as Star Wars Galaxies and add a painful notch in the canon.
