Star Wars legend Mark Hamill has lent his vocals to “Will You Wear A Mask? I Ask”
Mark Hamill is known around the globe for his role as Luke Skywalker in the ‘Star Wars‘ franchise. Alongside his vocal talents as The Joker in ‘Batman: The Animated Series‘ and his appearances in TV shows such as ‘Knightfall‘. But during the ongoing pandemic, he has been vocal about wearing a mask and sticking to the rules regarding our own personal safety from the virus.
Tom Ruegger has written and illustrated a rhyming read-aloud picture book for everyone which has been debuted on YouTube. Named ‘Will You Wear A Mask?’ and only four minutes and change long, it is a quaint little ditty which Mark Hamill has lent his dulcet tones to in performing the story. Check it out below:
All proceeds from this video and donations are welcomed and will be donated to World Central Kitchen. A not-for-profit non-governmental organisation dedicated to providing food to all in the aftermath of natural disasters. An organization founded by chef Jose Andres.
World Central Kitchen has organized meals for the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Zambia, Peru, Cuba, Uganda, Cambodia, The Bahamas and the United States following natural disasters. It aims to be one of the first responders and to solve the problem of hunger following a disaster.
They are still offering meals during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. These are for residents in several parts of the United States at present. Why not go online, watch the video, enjoy the read-along picture book and make a donation.
