The Falcon And The Winter Soldier claims the title of most-watched series premiere ever on Disney+
Marvel Studios’ The Falcon And The Winter Soldier ranked as the most-watched series premiere ever on Disney Plus. And the streamers’ most-watched title overall. Consequently, the series has succeeded WandaVision, and The Mandalorian to become the go-to series for Disney Plus viewers.
The series got off to a sensational start from the opening moments with a breathtaking opening sequence; whilst maintaining the atmosphere of past Captain America adventures. But, the high-octane action soon gave way to some much-needed character development. And Marvel fans got to connect with their heroes in a more intimate way than ever before.

SYNOPSIS
Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon. And Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience.
Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the six-episode series also stars Daniel Brühl as Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker. The series debuted worldwide on Disney+ on March 19, 2021.
