The film has finally seen a trailer released alongside a poster featuring the two leads. Both are once again portraying real-life paranormal investigators and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren. Take a deep breath and prepare for the paranormal once again:

THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!

The ‘Devil made me do it’ case featuring Arne Cheyenne Johnson was a first in the United States. The defense attempted to prove Johnson’s innocence based on the claim of demonic possession by the defendant. Johnson was charged with the murder of his landlord, Alan Bono. Ed and Lorraine Warren worked on the case in an attempt to ‘cure’ 11-year-old David Glatzel. The child had allegedly played host to the demon that forced Johnson to kill his landlord. The demon allegedly fled the child and manifested itself inside of Johnson. This true story forms the basis for the new film.
