David F. Sandburg drops a teaser for Shazam‘s new suit in the upcoming DC sequel!
Recently, a fan asked the question of why the superhero sequel from DC ‘Shazam: Fury Of The Gods‘ was filming now when it isn’t due for release until June 2nd, 2023. Director David F. Sandberg simply commented:
“Because of all the other DC movies that they want to release first. Can’t release them all at once.
NEW COSTUME!
Sandberg was also asked if there would be a new suit for Zachary Levi’s superhero, to which he simply replied ‘Yes.’. Fans have now been afforded the chance to see the new costume via a rather dark, brief video uploaded by the director via Twitter:

ZACHARY LEVI IN COSTUME!
To go alongside the video showing the new costume, a set photo showing Zachary Levi wearing the new costume onset has been unveiled courtesy of Just Jared:
COMING SOON WITH NEW CAST MEMBERS!
The film is currently shooting, which started last week. Many of the original cast are returning for the sequel but there are a few new additions this time around. Rachel Zegler will be appearing. Lucy Liu is also popping up in the film. And the villain is being played by Dame Helen Mirren. The film should be yet another box office smash for Warner Bros. We already know that the sequel will have more of the ‘Shazam Family’ who appeared in the original film’s climax. And after the terrific performance by Zachary Levi as the character, the film will be at the very least, funny, enjoyable, and heartwarming.
‘Shazam: Fury Of The Gods’ is currently filming ahead of a June 2nd, 2023 release.
