The remake of the 2018 Danish film ‘Den Skyldige’ or ‘The Guilty’ in English is set to hit Netflix and theaters on October 1st. Jake Gyllenhaal takes the lead role in the remake. The film is a crime thriller that twists and turns throughout. And nothing and nobody is what they seem. The first trailer for the upcoming film has debuted today. And it is a tense and engaging trailer that almost perfectly sums up what will entail. Let’s grab a look.

Joining Gyllenhaal in the film are Ethan Hawke, Riley Keough, and Paul Dano among others. Acclaimed director Antoine Fuqua handles the directorial reigns. Nic Pizzolatto handles the screenplay, based on the original by Gustav Moller and Emil Nygaard Albertsen.
