Welcome once more to the FOTF News Burst.
THE LONGEST BOND FILM EVER!
Looking forward to the return of 007? Ready to book your seats for his big comeback? Already planning on what snacks and sodas you intend to have during the film? Well, you’re going to need a strong bladder for it. News has emerged that the film ‘No Time To Die’ has a running time of 163 minutes. Yes, that’s almost two and three-quarter hours of James Bond for your buck. We knew that Daniel Craig intended to go out on a high as 007. He’s certainly going to do that. But it may be wise to use the bathroom before taking your seats. Otherwise, if the film is engrossing, it may be a case of ‘No Time To Pee.’!
IS VENOM TO BE SHORTER THAN EXPECTED?
On the other end of the scale, we were all expecting ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ to be a two-hour-plus comic book extravaganza. We had better think again. From what we have been hearing, the film will be ninety minutes in length. The first film clocked in at 112 minutes. This, if confirmed, would be a major length cut for the film. That’s not to say everything can’t be accomplished in an hour and a half. But we all expected more. And the film would be extremely tight in cramming in the story, the action, and sewing the seeds for a third film. We will have to wait for the confirmation.

ERASER TO BE REBOOTED!
Back in 1996, Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in an all-action thriller called ‘Eraser’. It was a pretty decent action flick, to be honest. But we never suspected that the film would be rebooted. Someone at Warner Bros. obviously did. It has been revealed that actor Dominic Sherwood (Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, Penny Dreadful: City Of Angels) is toplining the reboot. Filmed in secret over the summer, ‘Eraser: Reborn’ will be released in the spring of 2022. However, it is said that the film won’t be a theatrical release and will head straight to PVOD and home entertainment. The reboot is said to follow a US Marshall Mason Pollard. Pollard specializes in managing the fake deaths of witnesses who must leave no trace of their existence. The same plotline as Arnie’s vehicle from twenty-five years ago.

ANDY GARCIA IS EXPENDABLE!
And finally, for this edition, It has been confirmed that Andy Garcia has signed on to appear in ‘The Expendables 4.’ It is said that Garcia will be playing a CIA agent who will join the team on their next adventure. Garcia will join the cast that features veterans Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture. And the other newcomers in Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, Megan Fox, and Tony Jaa.
