Disney Plus Day | Something For Everyone In Store

Pinnochio, Chip ‘N Dale, Baymax, and Hocus Pocus 2 are amongst the upcoming content for us all to enjoy.

Disney Plus Day is upon us. The first-ever event for the streaming service has hit the world with the force of an earthquake. Introduced by Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt to announce their movie ‘Jungle Cruise’ is now available to all subscribers, there is a veritable feast awaiting us.

Not only are there streaming limited series. Not only are there exclusive movies. Not only are there original documentary series. There is something for the whole family. And not just for the young ones. Classics are reimagined, long-awaited sequels to some classic movies, and even a prequel to ‘Predator’ is going to be on offer. Some huge names will be appearing over the coming year or so, giving the audience a terrific selection to choose from, right at their fingertips. Let’s look at what’s in store.

THE ICE AGE ADVENTURES OF BUCK WILD

Up first, we have the teaser trailer for the spin-off from the ‘Ice Age’ franchise. Launching on January 28th, 2022, Simon Pegg returns to voice the main character in ‘The Ice Age Adventures Of Buck Wild’, which gave us a teaser trailer:

DISENCHANTED

Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey return once more in ‘Disenchanted’, the sequel to ‘Enchanted’, the film which has now hit Disney+. The sequel hits Disney+ in the fall of 2022:

BAYMAX

‘Baymax’ featuring the character from ‘Big Hero 6’ will be incoming in the summer of 2022:

CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN

The ‘Cheaper By The Dozen’ reboot, starring Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff, will drop in March of 2022:

‘DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: RODRICK RULES’

The animated ‘Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Roderick Rules’ film will be released in December:

THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES

It has been announced that a reboot of ‘The Spiderwick Chronicles’ is currently in development;

PREY

The already announced ‘Secret’ prequel to the original ‘Predator’ film, named ‘Prey’ will debut in 2022 on Hulu:

CHIP ‘N DALE: RESCUE RANGERS

Those lovable pair of Chip ‘N Dale are returning in a brand new ‘Chip N’ Dale: Rescue Rangers’ movie that will debut in the spring of 2022:

HOCUS POCUS 2

Finally! They’re back! The fall of 2022 will see the return of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy in the long-awaited ‘Hocus Pocus 2’, which is currently in production:

PINOCCHIO

The Robert Zemeckis directed live-action ‘Pinocchio’ remake will be released in the fall of 2022. Tom Hanks, Cynthia Erivo, Luke Evans, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key, and Lorraine Bracco will be appearing in the film:

SNEAKERELLA

The original movie ‘Sneakerella’ will be debuting on Disney+ on February 18th, 2022:

THE PROUD FAMILY: LOUDER AND PROUDER

The first trailer for the animated series ‘The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder’ has been released. The series will be released in February of 2022:

There is great news ‘Willow’ fans as the long-awaited new Willow series is coming in 2022. And we have been given a teaser:
