THE PLOT
The plot of the film is:
“Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot’s Egyptian vacation aboard a glamorous river steamer turns into a terrifying search for a murderer when a picture-perfect couple’s idyllic honeymoon is tragically cut short. Set against an epic landscape of sweeping desert vistas and the majestic Giza pyramids, this dramatic tale of love gone wrong features a cosmopolitan group of impeccably dressed travelers and enough wicked twists and turns to leave audiences guessing until the final, shocking denouement.”
THE CAST
Alongside Branagh, the film stars Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Tom Bateman. Letitia Wright, Rose Leslie, Russell Brand. Annette Bening, Ali Fazal, Emma Mackey. Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Dawn French. As the trailer shows, they are featuring Armie Hammer front and center. They are not shying away from his appearance in the film after the allegations made against the actor. The film is an ensemble piece anyway, meaning that Hammer is a part of a bigger gathering of actors and actresses. Without giving away any spoilers, his character is a vital part of the film. And 20th Century Studios hasn’t gone all-in and removed the actor from the film and digitally replaced him with someone else in the role. Will his troubles affect the film’s box office potential? We shall see.
‘Death On The Nile’ will sail into theatres from February 11th, 2022.
