“The Book of Boba Fett has now entered the territory where we have no idea what to expect!”
I’m a little late to the party but wow was that episode fun to watch. For the first time this season, The Book of Boba Fett did some things that legitimately surprised/excited me. I always knew we were going to get the backstory on how Boba gets his ship back. But the following adventures with his ship were, as Fennec would say, “legendary.”
VENGEANCE
Watching him annihilate the speeder bike gang that killed the Tuskens with his ship was so cool looking it made me whoop. I mean, that imagery of his ship appearing in the corner of the screen before raining pure destruction on those baddies left me with chills. It was awesome.
And to now know that the Sarlacc is dead thanks to one of Boba’s iconic seismic charges is just the coolest thing. It’s fitting that he would kill the beast and I love it!
MUSICAL TEASE
Plus, that musical tease at the end…I cheered. I love Boba Fett but I LOVE Mando. And to know this series is about to have him play a role in some capacity to probably bridge the gap between The Mandalorian‘s Season 2 and 3 is so exciting. When I see that shiny pure Beskar armor appear I’m going to lose my mind!
All in all, The Book of Boba Fett has now entered the territory where we have no idea what to expect and I have a feeling there are a lot of awesome surprises in store. (I’m crossing my fingers to see Qi’ra at some point.)
The Book of Boba Fett is streaming on Disney Plus NOW.
