Paramount decides to push Cruise’s next missions back by a year each!
Ok, COVID, enough is enough. To put it into an English expression, ‘DO ONE!’ Thanks to the rising infection rate of the Omicron variant, Hollywood are once again pushing their big releases back. We’ve already seen ‘Morbius’ delayed until the summer. But now, Tom Cruise has seen two of his movies pushed back again. While at the time of writing ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ is still opening on May 27th, September was to have seen ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ open. Not anymore. It has been confirmed that both ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ and ‘Mission: Impossible 8’ have been delayed once again.

Paramount Pictures and Skydance, the companies behind the franchise have said in a statement:

I think it is ridicous how many times Cruise & the studios are pushing back this movie & Top Gun.
Too true. It’s a complete joke.
Nancy, the question is why they are doing it.
