Tom Cruise On The Set Of Mission: Impossible 7

Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 will be the “Culmination” of the entire series.

Well, it had to happen sometime, didn’t it? Variety is reporting that Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ and ‘Mission: Impossible 8’ will be the send-off for Cruise’s character of Ethan Hunt. It is being said that the two films will be the “culmination” of the entire series. It is said that the ending to ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ will be a cliffhanger that will lead straight into the eighth and final film. The wait for the cliffhanger to be resolved will be a little under a year.

ALMOST $300MILLION TO MAKE!

Thanks to the delays caused by the pandemic, it is being said that the film has cost Paramount Pictures and Skydance Media $290million to date so far. That also includes what is said to be “substantial tax incentives that the global production was able to leverage to rein in costs.” That is one hefty chunk of change to spend on a movie. But with the franchise’s record of becoming box office smashes, it may yet pan out ok. And despite all that nature put in its way, ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ managed to get completed last year. But the franchise is a cash cow for Paramount. What will they turn to now that the final two missions are incoming?
