Vin Diesel and the rest will once again be tearing up the streets of London.
Production on the first of the final two films in the main ‘Fast & Furious.’ franchise is gearing up to go before the cameras. Actor Vin Diesel has taken to Instagram to reveal the first location the film will be visiting. And once again, Dom and his team will be ripping up the pavements of London. The actor said in his post:
“Fast is back in London, amongst many new locations around the world for the finale of Fast…Hope to make you proud…All love, Always,”
Co-Star Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges replied to the post, simply by posting “👑👑👑.”
THE PLAN AND THE CAST
The final two movies in the long-running franchise’s main story will be shot back-to-back. We can assume that the first of these final two movies ‘Fast & Furious 10’ will end on a cliffhanger. Alongside Diesel, the cast includes Michelle Rodriguez as Letty. Tyrese Gibson as Roman, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges as Tej. Jordanna Brewster as Mia, Sung Kang as Han. Natalie Emmanuel as Ramsey. And Jason Momoa is on board as the as-yet-unnamed villain of the movie.
Although their participation has yet to be confirmed, it is expected that we will again see John Cena as Jakob Toretto. Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Lucas Black as Sean Boswell. Cardi B as Leysa, and Charlize Theron as Cipher. Other rumors persist that Gal Gadot could make an appearance as Gisele Yashar. And Eva Mendes as Monica Fuentes. We already know that Dwayne Johnson WON’T be returning as Luke Hobbs for the finale. But as this is the send-off for the main franchise, Diesel could decide to go even bigger with the cast list. As the finale will be split over two movies, anything is possible. I can see Eva Mendes returning for at least one of the movies. But in all honesty, I can’t see Gal Gadot appearing unless it is in stock footage. However, I do expect the film to give the late Paul Walker’s character of Brian the send-off it deserves.
So far, there has been no word on what the title of the two movies will be. I think that ‘Fast & Furious: One Last Ride Parts 1 & 2’, Or ‘Fast & Furious: The Final Ride Parts 1 & 2’ are possibly on the table. But I guess we will have to see. However, if I’m right, then I’m claiming all credit for suggesting them!
‘Fast & Furious 10’ will accelerate into theatres in May of 2023.
