And it is bad news for DC fans. Apart from one spot of good news, four of their upcoming content has been pushed back. A summer 2023 musical film has been pushed back until next Christmas. While a watery sequel has been given a release date for next summer’s season. But let’s start from the beginning and the DC universe moves.

THE FLASH

We have been waiting for the standalone film of ‘The Flash’ for several years now. And we will have to wait even longer, I’m afraid. In the film, Barry Allen travels back in time to prevent his mother’s murder, which brings unintended consequences to his timeline. Ezra Miller once again takes on the title role with support from Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/ Batman and the returning Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/ Batman. The film was scheduled to hit screens on November 4th. It will now speed into theatres on June 23rd, 2023.

AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM

Jason Momoa as the king of the seven seas doesn’t fare much better either. His DC sequel ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’ has sunk back beneath the waves for a while. It was due to be the DC Christmas movie on December 16th. Now it has swum away to resurface in a March 17th, 2023 slot.
