A new featurette discusses the new star from Paramount Pictures’ upcoming action-adventure flick The Lost City!
Hitting cinema screens on April 13th is the movie ‘The Lost City.’ the action-comedy stars Sandra Bullock alongside Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe. It is a film in the style of ‘Romancing The Stone’ in some ways. And the trailer for the film gives us a tremendous sense of fun to be had along the way. A new featurette for the film has been unveiled. In it, Sandra Bullock discusses the new, big breakout star of the film. Her character’s jumpsuit! I kid you not. Don’t believe me? THE SYNOPSIS
Brilliant, but reclusive author Loretta Sage has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels. These feature the handsome cover model Alan, who has dedicated his life to embodying the hero character, “Dash.” While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire who hopes that she can lead him to the ancient city’s lost treasure with her latest story. Wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her. Thrust into an epic jungle adventure. the unlikely pair will need to work together to survive the elements and find the ancient treasure before it’s lost forever.
THE CAST AND CREW
Sandra Bullock plays Loretta while Channing Tatum plays Alan. Daniel Radcliffe portrays the eccentric billionaire, Fairfax. While supporting roles go to Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Beth, Loretta’s publicist. Patti Harrison as Pratt Caprison, Alan’s Sister. Oscar Nunez as Adrian Austin, Pratt Caprison’s brother. Raymond Lee as Officer Gomez. And Bowen Yang as Tomshi, Adrian Austin’s Chinese brother. Plus there are two big-name actors who appear in cameo roles. But who they are, we ain’t saying! Oh, ok! One appears at the end of the trailer you can see below!
The film is directed by Adam Nee and Aaron Nee. The screenplay is by Oren Uziel, Dana Fox, Adam Nee, and Aaron Nee, from a story by Seth Gordon. It is produced by Liza Chasin, Seth Gordon, and Sandra Bullock. And it is executive produced by JJ Hook, Dana Fox, Julia Gunn, and Margaret Chernin.
