
Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II hit the sirens in Universal Pictures’ new action-thriller AMBULANCE!
Due to hit screens on April 8th is the latest film from Michael Bay. The movie, ‘Ambulance’ is an action thriller, the likes of which Bay excels at. It is based on the Danish film of the same name from 2005. Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II star as two adoptive siblings turned bank robbers. The pair steal an ambulance which contains a paramedic and a police officer with critical injuries. Eiza Gonzalez co-stars as the paramedic. A new look inside featurette for the film has been released ahead of the film hitting screens. Let’s hit the sirens, fire up the lights, and take a look at what we will see:
THE PREMISE
William Sharp is a war veteran who desperately needs $231,000 for his wife’s surgery. He reaches out to Danny, his adoptive brother and a life-long criminal, who talks him into taking part in a $32 million bank heist. The robbery goes wrong when they shoot an LAPD officer. The pair are soon on the run in an ambulance with an EMT and the dying officer as their hostages.
