12-16-year-olds could have their work immortalized before every UK screening of JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION!
Are you talented at creating awesome artwork? Are you interested in the ‘Jurassic World’ saga? Would you like to see your artwork immortalized and to be shown on every screen in the UK? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you. The British Board Of Film Classification (BBFC) has launched a unique competition for those budding artists out there. If you are between the ages of 12 to 16, you have the chance to create an official black card for the upcoming ‘Jurassic World: Dominion.’ The black card is shown before the start of every film. It always denotes the rating, the content the film contains alongside the signatures of the board’s directors. In conjunction with Universal Pictures, the BBFC is running this contest with an epic prize to be awarded to the winner.
THE JURASSIC PRIZE
The lucky winner will receive four tickets to a special screening of the film, a goody bag, and a framed copy of their winning BBFC Black Card design. Entries for the competition are now open across the UK and will close on May 11th. The winner will be selected by a jury panel which will comprise industry experts. And professionals from both the BBFC and Universal Pictures themselves. The winning design will be revealed by the end of May. And the winning design will be in front of every screening of ‘Jurassic World: Dominion‘ when the film opens on Friday, June 10th.

STATEMENT FROM SARAH PEACOCK
The BBFC Compliance and Education Manager, Sarah Peacock, had this to say about the competition:
“Following its success, we are delighted for the upcoming re-launch of our Create The Card competition, ahead of the highly-anticipated summer blockbuster. We are excited to see the fresh ideas and new perspectives of young people around the UK. And look forward to recognizing their potential. Young people are at the heart of what we do and this competition provides another opportunity to engage them in the work of the BBFC.”

JURASSIC DETAILS
Young people between the ages of 12 to 16 can enter the competition by scanning and emailing a copy of their A4 landscape design. Or by posting it to the BBFC’S London offices directly. Competition templates can be downloaded from the BBFC website. The full terms and conditions are also available via the BBFC website to the BBFC app which you can download. You will also find a special video message from stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard about the contest.

So what are you waiting for? This incredible prize is available to win right now. Get designing and who knows? Maybe it will be YOUR design that adorns the opening to the new film. We can check out the winning design when ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ opens on June 10th.
