Go behind the scenes with Tom Cruise to see the action come to life in Paramount Pictures’ Top Gun: Maverick
We are so nearly ready to once again take the highway to the danger zone. In a little over a month, we will be taking to the skies once more with Tom Cruise in ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’ The film has been a long time coming, thirty-six years in fact. But the film remains one of the most highly anticipated of this summer’s blockbuster releases. A new featurette for the film has been released. It takes us behind the scenes to take a sneak look at the pilot training required for the film. Get into your flight suit and let’s take to the skies:
After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of TOPGUN graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.”
Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.
‘Top Gun: Maverick’ will feel the need, the need for speed in UK cinemas from May 25th and in USA Theaters on May 27th.
