Love it or hate it, Amazon’s ‘The Boys’ is one hell of a show. From superheroes that ain’t that super. From people who are supposed to protect us but in reality, don’t care for us. For a foul-mouthed Brit with a serious attitude problem. And the drama of a supe/ non-supe love affair, the show has it all. The violence, gore, language, and general flow of the show are off the charts. In fact, it is completely bats**t crazy! But I love it. It is one of those streaming series that I can’t get enough of. On June 3rd, the world gets to see the third season of the show. In anticipation, Prime Video has unleashed a mind-blowing new trailer. But be warned, it contains bad language, violence, and gore throughout. All the fun stuff!
SEASON 3 DETAILS
It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s subdued. Butcher works for the government, supervised by Hughie of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into the seven, starting a war and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy.
‘The Boys’ is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes-who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods-abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Intent on stopping the corrupt superheroes, The Boys, a group of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought-the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. It’s the seemingly powerless against the super powerful.

The new season looks to be completely off the chain! With Homelander becoming even more psychologically disturbed than ever. With Billy Butcher becoming the one thing he hates most in the world. From Hughie looking as if he’s become a senatorial patsy for Victoria Neuman. It is all here, ready to be explored. And that’s before we get introduced to Crimson Countess (Laurie Holden) and Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles). Soldier Boy looks to be a big component of season 3, and I can’t wait to see what he gets up to. Of course, you’ll notice the scene in the trailer that is almost a carbon copy of John Walker/ American Agent in ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.’ But despite that, the season looks to be as good, if not better than ever.
‘The Boys: Season 3‘ will hit Prime Video On June 3rd. To miss it would be DIABOLICAL!
