Rosario Dawson returns as the fan-favorite character in the Star Wars: Ahsoka series. But she will be joined by some old friends in the Disney Plus series!
Star Wars: Ahsoka takes over Star Wars Celebration!
From her start as an annoying and unloved character in ‘The Clone Wars’ movie, Ahsoka Tano has come a long way. She is now one of the most loved characters created for the galaxy far, far away. From Ashley Eckstein’s superb vocal performance as the character through to Rosario Dawson’s live-action interpretation, we love the former Jedi apprentice. It has already been announced that the character will be starring in her own solo series. But surprises have been sprung at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim. Not only did Rosario Dawson come directly from the set to appear on stage. Not only has Natasha Liu Bordizzo been unveiled as playing Sabine Wren. But that lovable and rather grumpy droid Chopper will be making his live-action debut in the series. As will Hera Syndulla.
LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN!
With the announcement of Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Chopper appearing in the show, thoughts turn to who else could appear. Can we expect to see Garazeb ‘Zeb’ Orrelios? Ezra Bridger? What about Grand Admiral Thrawn? We have heard that Lars Mikkelsen will be playing Thrawn in the series but that hasn’t been confirmed as yet. Rumors have swirled that Ezra will be making an appearance in the show but again, nothing has been confirmed. But the rumors will now be in full effect, thanks to the announcements.
‘Star Wars: Ahsoka’ will stream exclusively on Disney Plus in 2023.
