They hunt to live. It lives to hunt. The Predator goes back in time for his first hunt in the full-length trailer for 20th Century Studios’ prequel. It is time to become the PREY!
The Predator is one of those movie monsters that I can watch for hours. Whether he’s taking on Arnold Schwarzenegger mano e mano, beating the proverbial ten belles out of Danny Glover, or hunting Adrien Brody, he is the quintessential hunting machine. And we can’t help but cheer for him. It also helps that we are scared witless of him most of the time. But what was he like in his first-ever hunt? That’s the question that is soon to be answered in Dan Trachtenberg’s prequel ‘Prey.’ The film takes place 300 years ago. And this time, our dreadlocked friend is taking on a Comanche warrior on her own ground. The full-length trailer for the film has made its way online. Get to da Choppa as we take a look:
THE PREMISE
Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, the film follows a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior who has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains. So when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

THE OFFICIAL POSTER
And there’s more. Not only has the first full-length trailer dropped, but we also have the official poster for the film too:
We will become the ‘Prey‘ again when the prequel arrives on Hulu in the United States and Disney Plus in all other territories on August 5th.
