Love it or hate it, you can’t deny that ‘South Park’ is at times hilariously funny. I have to admit that I have seen some episodes that had me clutching my sides in pain after laughing so hard. And don’t get me started on ‘South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut.’ My sides and my face hurt after watching the movie, thanks to laughing and crying with laughter at times. Paramount Plus has been debuting made-for-streaming films created for the service. So far, we have had three, ‘South Park: Post Covid’, ‘South Park: Post Covid: The Return Of Covid.’, and ‘South Park: The Streaming Wars.’ Today has seen the teaser trailer debut for the next film debuting on the service. Paramount+ today announced that the service’s next “South Park” made-for-streaming movie, SOUTH PARK THE STREAMING WARS PART 2, will premiere Thursday, 14 July in the UK. The first three “South Park” events – SOUTH PARK: POST COVID, SOUTH PARK: POST COVID: THE RETURN OF COVID, and SOUTH PARK THE STREAMING WARS – are available to stream exclusively on Paramount+. In SOUTH PARK THE STREAMING WARS PART 2, drought has brought the town of South Park to the brink of disaster.
This year, “South Park” the series celebrates the 25th anniversary of its 13 August 1997 debut on Comedy Central. Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny were first seen in the animated short “The Spirit of Christmas.” And from there were launched into television history. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman are Producers. Christopher Brion is the creative director of South Park Digital Studios.
‘South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2’ will become available on Paramount Plus on Thursday, July 14th.
