This is what we have been waiting for since the climax in the 1978 original. We thought it was all over at the end of ‘Halloween II’ in 1981. We’ve suffered too many bog-standard sequels and remakes. We want a proper and final ending to their saga. And this October, we are going to get it! The first trailer for the final chapter in Blumhouse’s ‘Halloween’ trilogy has slashed its way online. This final battle between Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney/ Nick Castle) is on in ‘Halloween Ends.’ And for the fans, the first look at Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie in the trailer will immediately summon up memories while giving them a sense that this is the climax to end them all. Time to watch from the shadows as we see what lies in wait:
THE SYNOPSIS
Four years after the events of Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
THE FIRST POSTER
It all ends on October 14th when ‘Halloween Ends’ slices its way into theaters around the world.
