Zachary Levi uses his powers to appear in Hall H as he delivers a new look at Shazam! Fury Of The Gods!
How do you beat ‘Black Adam’? By unleashing his nemesis first, of course! Ahead of the new look at Dwayne Johnson’s superhero movie, it was the turn of Zachary Levi to take to the stage as he unveiled a new look at ‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods.’ The movie was originally planned to be released next year. But Warner Bros decided to push back ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’ until next summer. This vacated a spot for Levi and his movie to fill for this Christmas. The movie looks to be as enjoyable as the original was. The first film was a complete delight from start to finish and this second installment looks to follow on from there. The new trailer for the film has been brought to us by magic to entertain and enthrall us. Let’s see what Shazam and his family have been getting up to:
THE CAST
As well as Zachary Levi as Shazam, the cast includes Asher Angel as Billy Batson. Jack Dylan Grazer as Frederick “Freddy” Freeman with Adam Brody playing the character’s adult superhero form. The returning Djimon Hounsou as Shazam, the ancient wizard who gave Billy his powers after naming him as champion. Rachel Zegler in an unnamed role, Lucy Liu as Kalypso, a daughter of Atlas. And Helen Mirren as Hespera, another daughter of Atlas.
ALSO STARRING
Also starring are Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Billy’s good-natured younger foster sister with Meagan Good as her adult superhero form. Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield, Billy’s mature, academically-driven older foster sister (Fulton also portrays Mary’s adult superhero form). Ian Chen is Eugene Choi, Billy’s younger foster brother and an obsessive gamer with Ross Butler as his adult superhero form. Jovan Armand is Pedro Peña, Billy’s older foster brother and a shy, sensitive boy with D. J. Cotrona as his adult superhero form. And the delightful Marta Milans and Cooper Andrews once again appear as Rosa and Victor Vásquez, the foster parents of Billy and his siblings.
‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods’ will magically appear in theaters on December 21st, just in time for Christmas.
