
Paramount Pictures’ intensely creepy debut feature from Parker Finn will debut at The Alamo Drafthouse on September 22nd. Get ready to SMILE Texas!
The line-up for this year’s Fantastic Fest has been unveiled. And among the movies screening at the Austin, Texas film festival is the Paramount Pictures scarer ‘Smile.’ The psychological horror film has been written and directed by Parker Finn in his feature film debut. It is based on his own short film from 2020 ‘Laura Hasn’t Slept.’ The movie will be the opening night film at the festival. It stars Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Robin Weigert, Caitlin Stasey. With Kal Penn, and Rob Morgan. The film festival itself runs from September 22nd until September 29th.

After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.
