Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega, and Netflix bring The Addams Family’s homicidal daughter back for a new age. Start clicking those fingers, Wednesday is back in town!
It’s almost time to start clicking those fingers again to the classic theme tune. Tim Burton will be bringing the eldest child of The Addams Family to the small screen in the Netflix show ‘Wednesday.’ Jenna Ortega takes over the role of Wednesday Addams from Christina Ricci (who does appear in the show as a new, as yet unnamed character). Catherine Zeta-Jones also appears as Morticia Addams, Wednesday’s mom and the matriarch of The Addams Family. While Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams make up the family. It has been revealed that the casting of Uncle Fester is being kept a closely guarded secret and no one will know who is playing the character until the show debuts later this year. A new trailer for the show has been unveiled. Let’s take a look at some people who are creepy and spooky:
THE PREMISE
The series will be a coming-of-age supernatural mystery comedy focusing on Wednesday Addams and her years as a high school student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her psychic powers, stop a monstrous killing spree of the town citizens, and solve the supernatural mystery that affected her family 25 years ago—all while navigating her new relationships.
