
The composer debuted the first theme from the upcoming blockbuster at the Hollywood Bowl Concert. It is almost time to discover Indiana Jones 5.
The legendary composer John Williams has given the world some of the best-loved music film fans could hope for over the course of his career. From the terrifying theme to ‘Jaws’, the classic ‘Star Wars’ theme. The enchanting and mysterious music of ‘Close Encounters Of The Third Kind’, and the brilliant ‘Raiders March’, his music has been heard by almost everyone. He is returning to score the upcoming ‘Indiana Jones 5’ that will be released next year, which could be his final score. At the Hollywood Bowl concert last night, Williams unveiled the first piece of music from the new movie. Entitled ‘Helena’s Theme’, the music is for the character played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Let’s settle back and hear what the master has delivered:
ABOUT THE FILM
Not much is known about the film or its storyline at the moment. But of course, Harrison Ford is back as Indiana Jones, probably for the last time. While Phoebe Waller-Bridge is playing the character of Helena. The character is said to be an adventurer and a femme fatale. Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas, and Olivier Richters are also appearing in the film in as yet unrevealed roles.
The film is the first not to be directed by Steven Spielberg, who takes on a producing role or a story written by George Lucas. James Mangold sits in the directorial chair with a script co-written by Mangold, Jez Butterworth, and John Henry Butterworth.
The fifth ‘Indiana Jones’ film will bring adventure to the summer blockbuster season when it whips into theaters on June 30th, 2023.
