The Petr Jakl-directed action-drama Medieval will release theatrically and on-demand in October.

Inspired by the true story of one of the greatest warriors in history, October 28th sees the release of the film ‘Medieval.’ Starring Ben Foster, Matthew Goode, Sophie Lowe, Til Schweiger, and legendary Oscar-Winner Sir Michael Caine, the film tells the story of Jan Zizka. The 15th-century Czech icon and warlord defeated the armies of the Holy Roman Empire and the Teutonic Order. Vertical Entertainment is bringing the Petr Jakl-directed film to us with a day and date release. The film will be released in cinemas and on-demand on October 28th and runs for 126 minutes. Directed and screenplay by Petr Jákl, with the story written by Marek Dobes, MEDIEVAL is an enthralling depiction of one man’s battle to the ultimate victory, with a leading cast including Ben Foster (Hell or Highwater, 3:10 to Yuma), Matthew Goode (Stoker, The Imitation Game), Sophie Lowe (Blow the Man Down, Beautiful Kate), Til Schweiger (Inglorious Bastards, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door), William Moseley (The Royals), Rolland Møller (Atomic Blonde), Karel Roden (Orphan), and Oscar-winning actor Michael Caine (The Dark Knight, Cider House Rules).
