From some new original series through to some seriously spooky Halloween movies, get your fix in October on Amazon Freevee!
After its rebrand in April, Amazon Freevee has seen its growth increase tenfold. Currently available in the U.S and the U.K, it has recently launched in Germany. The service has something for everyone with its content of original series and movies alongside some great classics. This October sees the release of two new original series on the service alongside season 3 of a show already broadcasting. Let’s take a look at what’s on offer this October.
HIGH SCHOOL
Amazon Freevee released the official trailer for its highly anticipated YA series High School, based on platinum recording artists Tegan and Sara Quin’s New York Times best-selling memoir of the same name. The trailer includes an Amazon Original cover of the song “Today” by The Smashing Pumpkins, performed by Tegan and Sara, which is now available to hear only on Amazon Music. The show premieres on October 14th.

ICONS UNEARTHED: STAR WARS
Amazon Freevee has announced that the full season of Icons Unearthed: Star Wars, a deep dive into the Star Wars Universe, will premiere on 21st October exclusively on Amazon Freevee in the UK, Amazon’s premium free streaming service. The series, produced by the Nacelle Company, consists of six one-hour episodes. All six episodes will premiere on 21st October exclusively in the UK.
UNINTERRUPTED TOP CLASS: THE LIFE AND TIME OF THE SIERRA CANYON TRAILBLAZERS SEASON 3
The third season of the Freevee original series will premiere on October 31st.

As well as new and exclusive original series, you can also catch some seriously spooky movies during October. Already streaming are:

The Mindy Project which will be available from October 6th. Miami Vice which will be available from October 13th. Helix which will be available from October 14th. And Revolution which becomes available on October 21st.

There are many new and popular movies that are becoming available throughout October. From October 1st, you can watch:
Christine, John Carpenter Presents Vampires: Los Muertos, John Carpenter’s Ghosts Of Mars, John Carpenter’s Vampires. Miles Ahead, Patient Zero, Quarantine, Starman, The One I Love, and The Darkness.
October 6th sees: Born To Be Blue and The Blair Witch Project.

From the 20th of October, we can look forward to movies such as Don’t Think Twice and The Kindred (Both 20th of October). Pinocchio (2019) on the 23rd of October. The Possession Of Hannah Grace on the 26th of October. And we end the month with Seed Of Chucky on the 30th of October.
