Sylvester Stallone explodes onto the small screen in the original Paramount Plus series, Tulsa King, coming this November.
Next month sees the premiere of the newest series from Taylor Sheridan and Terence Winter. Both are Oscar Nominees while Winter has won an Emmy award. The series, ‘Tulsa King’ follows a New York Mafia capo after his release from jail after twenty-five years. But what makes this series stand out is the casting of Sylvester Stallone as the main character of Dwight Manfredi. Paramount Plus has today unveiled the official trailer and key art for the show. Let’s drop in and see what Stallone is bringing us:
TULSA KING follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, helping establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.
