Paramount Switches Release Dates For Two Of Its March 2023 Big Hitters

Ghostface and Dungeons & Dragons play the old switcharoo as Paramount shuffles its pack.

Paramount Pictures has decided, for some unknown reason, to switch two of its March 2023 movie release dates around. The upcoming ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ is moving back by three weeks to the end of March. Ghostface’s return in the horror sequel ‘Scream 6’ is moving forward by three weeks. Paramount must have its reasons for the switch. Maybe ‘Scream 6’ is further along in post-production than ‘Dungeons & Dragons.’ Who knows? But the moves are not too alarming, whatever the reasons.

SCREAM 6

Scream 6 moves from March 31st to March 10th. Not much is known at this point about the sequel apart from the fact that the four survivors of the fifth film will be returning again alongside Courtney Cox as Gale Weathers. Rumors persist that Neve Campbell, who declined to return due to monetary reasons, WILL be making an appearance somewhere in the film, either at the beginning or the very end. We’ve heard that she will appear in the climax in a cliffhanger ending that will lead into the already announced ‘Scream 7.’ We do know that Hayden Panettiere is returning as Kirby after her appearance in ‘Scream 4.’ The premise of the film simply is:

“The four survivors of the Ghostface killings leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.”

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOR AMONG THIEVES

The all-star cast that makes up Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will now hit theaters on March 31st, 2023. Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, Hugh Grant, and Jason Wong will bring a new version of the hit role-playing game to the big screen. The premise for the film follows:

“A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers as they embark on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic. Things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.”

*Justice Smith plays Simon, Sophia Lillis plays Doric, Chris Pine plays Edgin and Michelle Rodriguez plays Holga in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves from Paramount Pictures.*

Scream 6 will scare the pants off us on March 10th, 2023. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will cast its magical spell on audiences on March 31st, 2023.
