The dog-loving assassin COULD be about to make an appearance in the spinoff movie Ballerina, joining Ian McShane as Winston.

The spinoff from the John Wick franchise, Ballerina, started production this past Monday. The film is starring Ana De Armas as the title character. The story of the film involves a young woman with killer skills who sets out to get revenge when her family is killed by hitmen. We already have word that Ian McShane will be making an appearance in the film as Winston, the manager of the New York Continental Hotel, reprising his role from the main franchise. But if word is to be believed, he will be joined by John Wick himself.

Rumors are swirling that Keanu Reeves in is talks to make an appearance as John Wick in the film. Whether it will be a cameo or something more substantial is still unclear. But it would be a wonderful addition to a film that already sounds intriguing. Reeves has his fourth outing as the dog-loving assassin incoming next March 24th in ‘John Wick: Chapter 4.’ But it would make sense for him to make an appearance, even if it’s fleeting, in the spinoff movie.

As for Ian Mcshane, his role in the spinoff film has been described as ‘pivotal’ by the film’s producer, Basil Iwanyk, who went on to say:

“We’re thrilled to have Ian McShane joining us for a pivotal role in ‘Ballerina’. He’s been such an integral part of the franchise since the original John Wick. It’s been fun to have him on this journey as the Wick universe expands.“
