Eleven years later, Antonio Banderas returns as the lovable feline in Universal Pictures Puss In Boots: The Last Wish.
Back in 2011, the first Puss In Boots movie hit theaters. A spinoff from the Shrek franchise, the film saw the return of Antonio Banderas as the cuddly but deadly feline hero. With Salma Hayek joining in the fun as Kitty Softpaws, the film was a box-office success. Now, eleven years later, both actors are returning in the sequel Puss In Boots: The Last Wish. The film is scheduled to hit U.S theaters on December 21st and U.K screens on February 3rd of next year. A brand new trailer for the film has been released online. THE SYNOPSIS
When Puss in Boots learns he has used eight of his nine lives, he sets out on a journey to find the mystical Last Wish and restore the lives he has lost with Kitty Softpaws and his new companion Perro, a therapy dog who was disguised as a cat in Mama Luna’s home, all while also escaping new enemies who are trying to hunt him down due to his reputation after the first film.

THE CAST
Joining Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek for this second adventure are Olivia Colman as Mama Bear, Harvey Guillén as Perro, Samson Kayo as Baby Bear, Florence Pugh as Goldilocks, Ray Winstone as Papa Bear, Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Mama Luna, John Mulaney as “Big” Jack Horner, and Wagner Moura as the Big Bad Wolf.
