From the Wolf Pack, Teen Wolf, Cocaine Godmother, and continued iconic shows, there is a very happy new year for us all on Paramount Plus.
After stuffing ourselves over the festive period with all those nice goodies and food, it feels right to settle back and catch some quality entertainment. Paramount Plus has pulled back the curtain to give us a peek at what we can expect this January. From the premieres of the new show Wolf Pack, an exclusive movie named Cocaine Godmother, and season 2 of Mayor Of Kingstown, the entertainment mountain has once again come to us at home. And that’s not including the continuing iconic shows we’ve come to know and love.
WOLF PACK
Episode 1 drops on January 27th. The season contains 8 episodes of 60 minutes each. Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, Wolf Pack follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature. Wounded in the chaos of the attack, the teens are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two others who were adopted sixteen years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that connects them-the bite and blood of a werewolf.

The full movie drops on the 27th of January. Produced by MTV Entertainment studios and MGM, a full moon rises in Beacon Hills, and with it, a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can both gather new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.

MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN SEASON 2
The first episode drops on January 16th. The season contains 10 episodes that run for 60 minutes each. Mayor Of Kingstown follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption, and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

CHEMISTRY OF DEATH
Episode 1 drops on January 19th. The season contains 6 episodes of 60 minutes each. Chemistry Of Death is a thrilling, psychological crime series based on Simon Beckett’s best-selling novels following forensic anthropologist Dr. David Hunter. After a tragic loss in his family, Hunter, formerly a renowned police consultant, has started a new life as a general practitioner in the tranquil English countryside.
But when a mutilated corpse is discovered in the woods, the local police come to an initially reluctant Hunter for help. Quickly, a race against time begins as another body turns up and a woman disappears. The first season covers the events of the first two novels in the book series.
LOVE RATS VOLUME 2
Episodes 5-8 drop on January 3rd. This second part of the series contains 4 episodes that run for 60 minutes each. They promise life-long romance and a blissful future. Yet they scheme, scam and swindle. Some steal a fortune, others lead double lives. They are…the Love Rats. From online scam artists to bigamist husbands, serial conmen, and catfish-where people go looking for love, all too often what they find is a rat. From Di Pogson, whose international lover asks for spiraling money costs, to Annemarie, a highly educated, former lawyer who joins Tinder, Love Rats is a series sharing the most shocking stories that reveal the dating world is a hunting ground for manipulative criminals.
With scammers posing in occupations ranging from Hollywood stars to US soldiers, the twists and turns worthy of movies, the victims at the hearts of these cases share blow-by-blow accounts, detailing how they were targeted, coerced, and conned, leaving them with broken hearts and often empty bank accounts.

COCAINE GODMOTHER
The full film drops on January 6th. Starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jenny Pellicer, Alejandro Edda, Warren Christie, and Juan Pablo Espinosa. Griselda Blanco becomes a pioneer in the Miami-based cocaine trade. Her willingness to use violence against her rivals leads to numerous assassination attempts, forcing Griselda to move her business to California.

Episodes 1 & 2 drops on January 19th. The season contains 10 episodes of 60 minutes each. In the most ambitious dating experiment ever attempted, 22 recently single men and women from around the globe will be put through an extensive matchmaking process to find their “Perfect Match.” Hailing from around the world and living together under one roof at an international location, these singles will have one shared goal: to find “The One.” Each week, the singles will have an opportunity to find their match, and if they can identify all 11 couples at the same time, they’ll split a massive cash prize.

CONTINUED ICONIC SERIES
To go alongside the new and exclusive content, we can catch the continuation of some of the hit shows that have already launched on Paramount Plus. Yellowstone Season 5A will debut the eighth episode with the full box set available from January 2nd. 1923 will premiere episodes 4-6 before taking a mid-season break on January 16th and returning on January 30th. Tulsa King will have episodes 8 & 9 with the full box set becoming available on January 9th. George & Tammy will drop episodes 5 & 6 with the full box set becoming available on January 9th. And The Game Season 2 will premiere episodes 5-8 with the full box set dropping on February 10th.
