Miles Morales returns once more in Sony Pictures Animation’s computer-animated sequel, Spider-Man: Across The SpiderVerse.
After the success of the 2018 computer-animated superhero movie Spider-Man: Into The SpiderVerse, it was almost a given that we would see a sequel. And so it has proved. Hitting theaters on June 2nd, 2023 is the second film in the Sony Pictures Animation franchise, Spider-Man: Across The SpiderVerse. The sequel will once again feature the voice of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales / Spider-Man with support from Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker / Spider-Man, and Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara / Spider-Man 2099.
Other vocal cast members include Daniel Kaluuya as Hobart “Hobie” Brown / Spider-Punk, Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis, Luna Lauren Vélez as Rio Morales, Issa Rae as Jessica Drew / Spider-Woman, and Jason Schwartzman as The Spot. THE PREMISE
Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar® winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
