The Evil Dead Rise In The First Trailer For The Fifth Movie In The Franchise

In April, the Evil Dead will return. With No Ash to save us this time, what will we do when the Evil Dead Rise?
You can’t keep those pesky Deadites down for long, can you? Despite Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) battling them as far back as the dark ages (don’t ask), they keep coming back for more. On April 21st, Warner Bros. will be bringing us the fifth movie in the franchise that started way back in 1982 with Sam Raimi’s classic original. Titled, Evil Dead Rise, the film follows two sisters trying to survive and save their family from demonic creatures known as Deadites.
Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell executive produce this new entry into the series. After yesterday’s teaser, and the release of the first poster for the film, the first full trailer has now emerged to make our skin crawl once again. Let’s see what the Deadites are up to this time:

THE PREMISE
In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A. apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.
