Launching on May 19th, the original docu-style comedy series Primo is coming to Amazon Freevee.
Amazon Freevee has debuted the trailer for their upcoming original docu-style comedy series, Primo. The coming-of-age, single-camera comedy is inspired by the life of one of the executive producers, Shea Serrano. The series will debut on May 19th.
THE SYNOPSIS
This is a coming-of-age, single-camera comedy, inspired by Serrano’s life growing up in San Antonio, TX, follows Rafa Gonzales, a wide-eyed 16-year-old being raised by his clever mother, Drea, and his five overbearing uncles (Rollie, Mike, Ryan, Jay, and Mondo) as they live their lives on the south side of San Antonio. The executive producers are Shea Serrano (Hip Hop: The Songs That Shook America) and Mike Schur (The Office, Brooklyn Nine-Nine).
Primo launches on May 19th.
