MARIO GETS OFF TO A SUPER START!

Here we go! The star-studded Super Mario Bros Movie lands straight in at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart. Earning over 63,000 digital download-only sales in its first week, the film – which features the voices of Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Seth Rogan, and many more – outsells the rest of the Top 10 combined to claim a big Number 1 debut.

Based on Nintendo’s flagship, iconic video game series, The Super Mario Bros Movie sees Mario (Pratt) and Princess Peach (Taylor-Joy) journey through the Mushroom Kingdom to find Mario’s brother Luigi (Day) and save the world from the ferocious and evil Bowser (Black).
