We lose four titles this week while gaining two new entries and two re-entries. As these four titles appear, it’s time for Creed III, Fast & Furious 9, Scream VI, and Dune to disappear. And we also have a brand new number one. But what can the four titles be? Let’s find out.
JOHN WICK CHAPTER 4 SHOOTS STRAIGHT TO THE TOP!
John Wick: Chapter 4 crashes straight in at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart. Making its debut with over 126,000 sales just on digital downloads, the latest installment in the Keanu Reeves-led series sees John Wick facing off against a brand new, powerful enemy as he uncovers a way to finally defeat The High Table. Can he finally earn his freedom? (Read our review here).
SUPER MARIO LOSES A LIFE!
John Wick’s success means that The Super Mario Bros Movie is pushed down to Number 2 this week, despite a strong performance in its second week.
TIME TO ENTER THE SPIDER-VERSE AGAIN!
Former Number 1 Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse leaps back up eight places to finish at Number 3, following the release of its triumphant sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Read our review here) in cinemas last week.
FANTASTIC BEASTS MOVES UP ONE!
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore moves up a place to number 4. (Read our review here).
AVATAR SINKS AGAIN!
Avatar: The Way of Water sinks a place to number 5.
MATILDA MOVES UP A PLACE!
Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical sings and dances her way up a place to number 6.
COCAINE BEAR SNORTS BACK INTO THE CHART!
Comedy-thriller Cocaine Bear stomps up five places to return to the Top 10 at Number 7. (Read our review here).
65 NEW AT NUMBER 8!
Newly into the chart, Adam Driver in the Action-adventure 65, which debuts at Number 8.
ANT-MAN GETS SQUASHED!
Last week’s Number 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, tumbles to Number 9. (Read our review here).
MAVERICK GETS SHOT DOWN!
Top Gun: Maverick clings on to its place at Number 10, a drop of two places. (Read Our Review here).
